But they were thee most AMAZING Olympic Games I have ever seen, no lie ;) I want to be able to watch the opening/closing ceremonies and every the events of my choice as often as I like. Is there a way to download them onto my I-pod, or is there like, a DVD with the highlights on them?? (I preferably enjoyed the short-track speed skating, figure skating paired, men's, and women's, and the ice dancing.) Thanks!! :) by the way, they aren't really that many on youtube cuz they are copytighted ;) *copyrighted lol

Russia usually dominated at elite competitions, but lately they haven't been on the podium as much as they would like. In fact Russia is very mad about the results of the 2010 games, make sure you check out this article: http://www.rferl.org/content/Kremlin_Tells_Russian_Olympic_Officials_To_Resign/1971249.html President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia states his anger in the article, its actually very silly what he says. Why do you think that Russia has been so unsuccessful? When the USSR ruled, people were chosen at young ages to compete in sports, and had no choice in the matter. Do you think now that it is an option, people show less interest? Tell me what you think...?

My last period was January 23, 2010. Obviously since my period never came I began to suspect pregnancy. I took a HPT a couple days ago and it was a faint positive. I have been pregnant before, this would be my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. I still haven't gone to look a doctor because I had a family death a couple days ago and between that, work, and feeling so moody and sleepy I have not gone to the doctors yet, nor taken a second pregnancy test. Today I started to feel cramping, and about five minutes ago I felt a gush. I got my period, but I'm now wondering if I was ever even pregnant at every? My cycle was very regular for months and months, I'm thinking that this month was off because we had the Olympics in our city and I was partying a lot and not eating the right foods for a couple of weeks. Has this happened to anyone? I guess I should go look a doctor but I'm pretty scared to. My first miscarriage was devastating for me. Also, I would have been about 5.5 weeks now.

Hey guys. Here's my essay. wish its good... Sven Kramer. Sven Kramer is a 23-year old professional speed skater. He was born in Heerenveen, Friesland. He is the son of Yep Kramer and Annemarie Kramer. Sven has a 4 year younger brother named Brecht, who is also a professional speed skater. Sven won many medals at many different championships and has a lot of world records on his name. In the year 2004, he won his first real Championship (the Dutch Allround Championships) at the age of 18. That made him qualified for the European Allround Championships were he won a silver medal. The same year he won the bronze medal at the World Allround Championships at age 19. These titles made him very famous in Europe, he is a big inspiration for many aspiring speed skaters. Many little kids look him as his idol here in Holland. Sven Kramer won his first olympic medal at the Olympic games in Turin, 2006. After a few years, he won his first gold medal at the Olympics in Vancouver (2010). This made him even more famous because was only 23 years old when he won that medal. He should have won another gold medal, though. Sven finished first in the 10.000 meter finals at a new olympic record, 12:54.50. But he was disqualified cause his coach failed in giving the directions how he should change the lanes. This was my essay, thanks for reading. // Any help, advice or critique is welcome. Cheers,

I've been seeing the changes the Leafs' management have been making to the Leafs' lineup and I like the direction they're heading - they're going for a younger team with toughness. I think this is brilliant and I think a lot of Leaf fans are excited about this too. With a bunch of young guys on the team, they'll really develop chemistry and a mindset for a team-approach (rather than having a team comprised of a mix of young guys and older guys). I think we saw this same formula with Burke's choice for the USA Olympic team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics - a quick young team that gelled really well. So, with that being said, I think the Leafs aren't done yet making changes. There's still a few bodies that they need to move in my opinion - if they're truly going to work this formula of having a core bunch of young guys that'll band together to make a run for the Stanley Cup. Please let me know your opinion on who they should work to keep and those that they should move: Bozak Caputi Grabovski Hanson Kessel Kulemin Lundmark Mitchell Orr Primeau Sjostrom Stalberg Wallin Beauchemin Exelby Finger Gunnarsson Kaberle Komisarek Phaneuf Schenn Van Ryn Giguere Gustavsson Also, what positions or which Free Agent players do you think the Leafs should try to receive from the 2010 Free Agent market (July 1)?

I know some Curling Stones are manufactured in Canada, but the ones used in the 2010 Winter Olympics were from Kays of Scotland, and Scottish granite for Curling Stones is running out of supply! . I read some article that it's called "ailsite granite" and this type of granite is gonna be gone after like 2020. Why can't Canada take advantage of this and arrive up with a Canadian granite to be the guide Olympic Curling rock of future olympics? I know curling is very popular in Canada, if not second to hockey. According to Wikipedia: Traditionally, high quality curling stones are made from a specific type of granite called "ailsite", found on Ailsa Craig, an island off the Ayrshire coast in Scotland. Ailsite has very low water absorption, which prevents the action of freezing and melting water from eroding the rock.[11] In the past, most curling stones were made from ailsite; however, the island is now a wildlife reserve and the quarry has closed. The rarity of ailsite has led to high prices for curling stones, as much as US$1,500 for the best stones.[citation needed] Many curling clubs use a lower-grade rock that can cost upwards of $500.[citation needed] There are also stones that use a disc of ailsite as the running surface attached below another type of granite. Very informal neighbourhood curling clubs with limited resources may make cylindrical "curling stones" out of concrete-filled cans or bowls.[12] Kays of Scotland has been making curling stones since 1851 and has the exclusive rights to Ailsa Craig granite, granted by the Marquess of Ailsa, whose family has owned the island since 1560. The last "harvest" of Ailsa Craig granite by Kays took place in 2002. Kays have said that they harvested 1,500 tons, sufficient to fill anticipated orders through at least 2020. Kays has been the exclusive manufacturer of curling stones for every three Olympics where curling has been a medal sport.[13

I heard that CBC has the right to "monopolize" the videos so other people can't upload the videos on youtube, etc. So then I went to the CBC website and every I found were some Joannie Rochette videos but no one else's, not even the silver and gold medalists' videos. Why is Canada so lame? Where the hell do I watch the videos?

In July 2011, the International Olympic Committee will decide which world city would host the 2018 Winter Olympics and the XXIII Winter Olympic Games. The IOC has nominated the following three cities to host the 2018 Winter Olympics; 1) Annecy, France. If Annecy gets the Winter Olympics, it will be the first time in 26 years that France has hosted the Olympics. Albertville, France hosted the 1992 Winter Olympic Games. 2) Munich, Germany. If Munich gets the Winter Olympics, they will be the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Munich hosted the 1972 Summer Olympics and this will be the second Winter Olympics in Germany after Garmisch-Partenkirchen hosted the 1936 Winter Olympics. 3) PyeongChang, South Korea. Although South Korea has never hosted the Winter Olympic Games, this is PyeongChang third bid after they bid for the Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2014. If PyeongChang gets the Winter Olympics, it will be the third time the Winter Olympics have been in Asia after Sapporo, Japan hosted the 1972 Winter Olympics and Nagano, Japan hosted the 1998 Winter Olympic Games. If I had to guess who will receive the 2018 Winter Olympics, I predict that PyeongChang will host the 2018 Winter Olympics. I do not look Annecy hosting the Winter Olympics because France would like to look Paris receive the 2024 Summer Olympic Games (to celebrate the centennial of the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris) and I do not look Munich hosting the Winter Olympics since Germany is too close to Sochi, Russia where the 2014 Winter Olympics will be held.

In the USA, I'm sleepy of the fake Canada exhibits like the Epcot middle in Florida where Canada looks like a medieval castle with a Mercantile store with fake-drawn totem poles and lumberjacks. This is like making a USA themepark with a picture of a Yanki Duddle riding a pony with a macaroni cap. I think I'd rather look a more educated Canada theme park with a ride/exhibit for each province. Would this be a good set-up? Quebec section- Bohemmes Carnaval and a funicular ride, a poutine stand, historical film about Jacques Cartier Ontario - CN Tower, Parliament Hill....ice skating rink machine-frozen shaped like Rideau Canal, Niagara Falls remake, Store: Tim Hortons Coffee, Jersey Milk Bars and buttertarts and maple syrup Manitoba - we would take the Golden Boy Winnipeg Statue, a modeled CN Rail car, and a square field with Yellow Poppy seeds.......a film about the Metis struggle and the Winnipeg Strike Saskatchewan - We would have a panoramic 360 film dedicated to Tommy Douglas, a film to honour the RCMP in training, a film showing Medicine cap, Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert. Alberta - We would have a huge oil rig and a tiny version of Calgary's Luge....3D movie of the Canadian Rockies BC - Clearly the spirit of the 2010 Olympic games brought to life.....and displays of Vancouver artists, pictures of the beautiful ecosystem on the pacific coast Yukon - Remake of Dawson City.... you receive the point..... couldn't there be a park like this to feature Canada in proper light, historically, multiculturally, scenically? every that

We every know Yu-Na Kim won the free figure skating event in Vancouver, but I just learned that Yuna Kim was wearing a pair of earrings not sponsored by Vancouver Olympics and that the jewelry company advertised the earrings Yuna Kim wore during the olympics. I've picked up some comments from another blogger; Yuna Kim is suspected as violation of "By-law to rule 41-3 and By-law to rule 51" for wearing the crown earrings by J.ESTINA, a company which has sponsored her for several years, to advertise the company's product during Vancouver Olympic games . J.ESTINA is selling the crown earrings as Yuna Tiara Collection Crown earrings below site. J.ESTINA used her photograph during the Olympics to advertise the products, on the website.(It has been taken off now) I think that this violates Olympic Charter. http://www.jestina.co.kr/goods/detail.asp?page=1&num=103572&big=1&middle=4&tiny=1 http://megalodon.jp/2010-0226-0954-55/www.jestina.com/goods/detail.asp?num=103571&big=1&middle=4(2.26.2010 Cached) also A company which has sponsored Yuna Kim for several years, produced the crown earrings and is selling the crown earrings as Yuna Tiara Collection Crown earrings. Yuna Kim is a spokes-model of J.ESTINA. The following video is "Yu-Na Kim 2009 J.ESTINA interview" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd9H8OVhFv8#t=11s Official site http://www.jestina.com/index.asp http://www31.atwiki.jp/808080808080/pub/up0877.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd9H8OVhFv8#t=11s http://www.jestina.com/data/rental/board/pds/KNEditor2_Pds/100225_yuna_12%280%29.jpg Now I can't read Korean but it goes to show she does advertise the earings. If the IOC determines she did advertise a product during the Vancouver 2010 olympics which is against the rules then is there a possibility that her gold metal might be disqualified? I'm not against anyone but rules are rules and if you somehow illegally advertise a product during the olympics then shouldn't the rules be enforced? What do you think? Yeah but why did she wear those earrings during the free figure skating event? She didn't have to put them on during the games but if you look at the pictures and videos you can look her wearing them, that was not a smart move on the part of her. You can look her wearing the earrings, is that not advertising the product? Also check this out. http://img.20ch.net/geino/s/geino20ch5161.png

men's hockey team to play like women (referring to the talent of our Canadian women's team of course!) I'm writing a speech on the sexism that still continues today with inspiration from the deliema over the womens team this year in 2010 celebrating after their gold metal win.
